One two-month cruise around the Australian Coast was terminated following the fatal incident of an elderly woman who was stranded by the vessel on a distant coastal location.

Suzanne Rees had been trekking on Lizard Island with shipmates from the Coral Adventurer, but broke off from the party for a pause. The vessel left without her and came back after some time after the crew discovered the passenger was not present.
